Jennifer is a beautiful medium-early maturing variety for the white market. Jennifer has cooking type B, keeps its shape well after cooking; medium starch; slightly creamy texture.
Short-oval tubers with white to creamy flesh and an attractive bright, smooth skin. Jennifer has a relatively high tuber set. With close planting distance, Jennifer can be grown for white creamer potatoes. Regular sized potatoes can be obtained with in-row spacing from 10 to 12 inches.
Jennifer potatoes are a universal potato and can be used for multi culinary purposes like boiled, mashed, roasted, or made into scalloped potatoes. Maintaining their shape well when cooked they work perfectly in potato salads, soups, and stews. Jennifer can even be used for peeled products and fresh cut French fries.
