North American markets found a niche for this new and unique deep yellow fleshed, high yielding variety.
Oval to long oval, large tuber type with a deep yellow flesh color. Yellow slightly netted skin.Uniform in shape and grading. The plants have rather long runners or stolons. Victoria has a rather long dormany period.
Rather late maturing variety with a very good foliage, erect stems and large leaves. White flowers. Avoid heavy Nitrogen fertilization, as it will delay maturity of tubers and vines.
Fairly resistant to late blight, PVY and leafroll. Resistant to PCN and immune to Wart disease. Somewhat susceptible for common scab.
Firm and no discoloration after cooking. Medium to good specific gravity. Particularly low sugar content. Excellent for French fries and fresh consumption.
